What I Made Wednesday ~ Neapolitan Cake

So, a little about me. I have hobby ADD, HADD. I take a class, spend lots of money, learn the new whatever, then drop most of it. Took tennis lessons, haven't played since. Took tap dancing, almost broke my neck. But a few things have stuck with me that I enjoy. Since my blog is so new I have lots of old things to post about from the past. I thought I would do What I Made Wednesday's. Every Wednesday I will post something from the past that I've made. I mostly knit and bake. Some will be successes, some will be epic failures.

I've already showed you my Coffee Cozy, so today I am going to show you something I've baked. Usually, I get inspired by other bakers on blogs or instagram. Especially I Am Baker. Gosh, her stuff is beautiful!!! Her Neapolitan Rose Cake is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. I had to try it.

I used too much milk in the butter cream. We laughed  at this until it hurt. The person I made it for said she could careless what it looked like, the taste was amazing!

Of course I eventually tried it again, and the second attempt was much better. :Learn from your mistakes", I always say.

I finally did it. I do not usually enjoy eating cake anymore since I make it so much. But this cake is divine. It is Neapolitan inside too. Pretty AND delicious.
